RUF Rodeo History
History
Revealed in 2020, the Rodeo is RUF's first venture away from pure tarmac performance. Built on a raised, bespoke dual-wishbone push-rod suspension system designed for all-terrain use, it shares the 911 silhouette with Ruf's other models but adds meaningful ground clearance and variable all-wheel drive. The 610-hp water-cooled twin-turbocharged flat-six mates to a six-speed manual.
The Rodeo was inspired in part by the Safari-spec rally Porsches of the 1970s and the Porsche 953 Paris-Dakar cars, filtered through Ruf's own performance ethos. It represents the brand's recognition that the SUV and adventure-vehicle boom extends even into the hypercar segment.
