History
Debuted at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show exactly 30 years after the original CTR, the Anniversary is Ruf's most ambitious road car: a wholly bespoke carbon-fibre monocoque chassis with styling referencing the Porsche 964-era 911. The rear-wheel-drive powertrain pairs a 3.6-litre water-cooled twin-turbo flat-six producing 700 PS (522 kW) with a seven-speed manual gearbox — a gear count unprecedented in a Ruf.
Top speed is rated at 360 km/h (224 mph), eclipsing the original Yellowbird's record. Production is strictly limited to 50 examples, priced at approximately €892,500 each. The CTR Anniversary was developed in partnership with German engineering firm Vela Performance and affirms Ruf's position as a manufacturer of original automobiles rather than Porsche derivatives.
