Ringbrothers G-Code (1969 Camaro) History
History
G-Code debuted at the 2016 SEMA Show in the Royal Purple booth. Based on a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, the car was built around a hand-laid carbon-fiber body and a Whipple-supercharged LS3 producing 1,000 hp, driven through a six-speed Tremec transmission. The entire build was priced at approximately $600,000.
The G-Code earned Chevrolet's Best in Show at SEMA 2016 — Ringbrothers' second consecutive Chevrolet Best in Show win — and was later featured on Jay Leno's Garage, where the host drove the car, expanding the shop's mainstream profile considerably.
