Ringbrothers Espionage (1965 Mustang) History
History
The Espionage was a 1965 Ford Mustang fastback transformed for the 2015 SEMA Show. Ringbrothers widened the body two inches per side and fitted a Wegner Motorsports 427-cubic-inch LS7 V8 with a Whipple supercharger to produce 959 hp, routed through a carbon-fiber driveshaft to a DSE Ford 9-inch rear end.
The custom 'Spy Green' paint and spy-themed details gave the car its name. The Espionage debuted in the BASF booth and reinforced the shop's reputation for combining extreme power outputs with bespoke coachwork on iconic American nameplates.
