Riley One-Point-Five History

The Riley One-Point-Five was a compact saloon built from 1957 until the last car left the line on 29 March 1965. It shared its monocoque bodyshell with the Wolseley 1500 but was tuned for performance, using a 1,489 cc BMC B-Series engine with twin SU carburettors and a close-ratio gearbox.

Lively and good-handling for a small saloon of its day, the One-Point-Five became a popular club competition car and is among the best-regarded of the BMC-era Rileys.
