Introduced for the 2024 model year, the Polestar 4 is a compact coupe-SUV that makes the bold engineering decision to omit a conventional rear window entirely — the rear view is handled by a camera-fed interior display. The sloping roofline delivers a dramatic silhouette while preserving rear headroom that a traditional coupe-SUV sacrifices.

Powertrains span a single-motor rear-drive variant (approximately 272 hp, up to 310 miles of EPA range) and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version producing up to 544 hp with a 0–60 mph time of around 3.8 seconds. The 104 kWh battery pack supports DC fast charging. Production is centred at Hangzhou Bay, China, with South Korean production added from 2025.
