MG ZS History
History
Launched in 2017, the modern MG ZS is a subcompact crossover that became MG's best-selling model worldwide, built on SAIC's value-for-money formula of generous equipment at a low price. It is unrelated to the 2001 Rover-era MG ZS saloon.
The ZS EV, an all-electric version, reached export markets around 2019 and was one of the first affordable electric SUVs in Europe, helping establish MG as a serious EV-value player ahead of many legacy rivals.
