MG MG4 EV History

The MG4 EV (2022) is a C-segment electric hatchback built on SAIC's dedicated Modular Scalable Platform (MSP / 'Nebula'), which gave it rear-wheel drive and a low-slung stance unusual at its price. Sharp handling and aggressive pricing made it one of MG's most acclaimed modern cars and a major European EV success.

The dual-motor MG4 XPower, added in 2023, produces 320 kW (around 429 hp) and claims 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds — hot-hatch performance that deliberately echoes MG's sporting heritage in an EV.
