Mahindra XEV 9e History

The XEV 9e launched alongside the BE 6 in November 2024, opening for booking on 14 February 2025 and beginning deliveries mid-March 2025. The larger of Mahindra's two inaugural INGLO-platform EVs, it is priced from ₹21.90 lakh and targets the premium electric SUV segment.

Like the BE 6, it uses 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, the same 210 kW integrated powertrain, and 175 kW DC fast charging. The XEV 9e's more upright SUV body gives it a roomier cabin than the coupe-SUV BE 6, and both cars represent Mahindra's most ambitious engineering programme — the INGLO platform is shared with no existing Mahindra vehicle and was designed purely for electric propulsion.
