Lincoln MKT History

The MKT launched for 2010 as a three-row full-size luxury crossover on Ford's large unibody platform, offered with a twin-turbo EcoBoost V6. Its bold, heavy-set styling divided opinion, and retail sales were modest.

It found its real niche in the livery trade as the 'MKT Town Car' fleet model, becoming a common airport-car and limousine base after the body-on-frame Town Car ended. The MKT was discontinued after the 2019 model year.
