History
The MKS arrived for 2009 as Lincoln's full-size flagship sedan, built on Ford's large front-wheel-drive (optional all-wheel-drive) platform shared with the Ford Taurus. It was among the first Lincolns offered with the twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6.
Aimed above the MKZ, it served as the brand's senior car after the Town Car's retirement but never sold in large numbers; it received a facelift for 2013 and was discontinued after the 2016 model year, with the Continental revival taking over its role.
