The 2023 model year
Overview
The send-off year for the S550. With the Shelby GT500 discontinued, the Mach 1 became the lineup's flagship for the generation's final tour, which was otherwise a near-carryover. Sixth-generation production ended at Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant on April 6, 2023, handing off to the seventh-generation S650.
