History

The 1927 Model A replaced the aging Model T with a more powerful flathead four, a conventional three-speed gearbox, and a sliding-gear transmission familiar to modern drivers.

Offered in a wide range of body styles and colors, the Model A sold around five million units in four years before Ford moved to the V8-powered Model 18 for 1932.
