History

The 1975 Granada was a compact built on the long-serving Falcon underpinnings but dressed in formal, European-influenced styling that Ford openly compared to a Mercedes.

It sold strongly through the late 1970s before being replaced by the Fox-platform models for 1983. (The North American Granada is unrelated to Ford of Europe's Granada.)
