Ford Fusion History

Launched for 2006, the Fusion became Ford's core mid-size sedan, earning a strong reputation in its sharply styled second generation (2013–2020).

It offered hybrid and Energi plug-in-hybrid variants and a twin-turbo V6 Sport, but fell to the industry-wide shift away from sedans, ending after 2020.
