History

The Five Hundred (2005–2007) was a tall, roomy full-size sedan on Ford's D3 platform, offering available all-wheel drive.

Ford renamed it Taurus for 2008 to revive the better-known nameplate, so the Five Hundred effectively became the modern full-size Taurus.
