History

Initially previewed by the 2018 Aeolus eπ Concept, the Yixuan debuted at Auto Shanghai 2019 as the D53 and represents Aeolus's contemporary compact-sedan offering. Engine options include a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder (125 hp) and a 1.5-litre turbo four-cylinder (147 hp).

A battery-electric variant, the Yixuan EV, was listed alongside the petrol car in 2019, riding Aeolus's eCMP electric platform with a 47.7 kWh battery and an NEDC range exceeding 400 km — making it one of the brand's early commitments to new-energy vehicles ahead of broader industry mandates.
