Dongfeng Aeolus S30 History

The Fengshen S30 was unveiled at Auto Shanghai in April 2009 and went on sale in China in July 2009, making it the debut production model of Dongfeng's newly created Aeolus (Fengshen) passenger-car brand.

A conventional front-drive compact sedan aimed at China's growing middle-class buyer, the S30 provided Dongfeng with its first domestic-branded car outside the commercial-vehicle segment and proved there was a viable market for Dongfeng's own marque. Production ran through 2017.
