Dongfeng Aeolus H30 History
History
Officially launched in January 2011, the Fengshen H30 was a mid-sized five-door hatchback that gave Aeolus a bodystyle alternative to the S30 sedan.
Three months later, the H30 Cross — a raised, lightly rugged version — debuted at Auto Shanghai in April 2011, catering to Chinese buyers' growing appetite for SUV-adjacent styling. Together, the H30 pair helped establish Aeolus as a legitimate multi-model brand rather than a one-car experiment. The regular hatchback was retired with a March 2013 facelift, while the H30 Cross soldiered on within the S30/H30 line until it wound down around 2017.
