History

The Viper arrived for 1992 as a raw, no-frills sports car: an 8.0-liter V10, a roadster body (the RT/10) with minimal driver aids, and supercar performance. The GTS coupe joined for 1996.

Built across three generations with a gap around 2007, the Viper grew to an 8.4-liter V10 (up to 645 hp), and the hardcore ACR set production-car lap records. The final Viper was built in 2017.
