Dodge Super Bee History

Launched for 1968 as a value-priced muscle car on the mid-size Coronet, the Super Bee paired a standard 383 (with the 440 Six Pack and 426 Hemi optional) with minimal frills — Dodge's answer to the Plymouth Road Runner.

For 1971 the Super Bee moved to the Charger body before the original run ended. The name has since been revived on modern Charger and Challenger special editions.
