History
The Stratus arrived for 1995 as a cab-forward mid-size sedan, a roomy and modern family car that replaced the Spirit.
A second generation followed for 2001, adding a separate Stratus coupe built on the Mitsubishi Eclipse platform; the sporty R/T coupe was the performance pick. The line ended after 2006.
