History

The Monaco launched for 1965 as Dodge's premium full-size car and grew into the brand's full-size flagship through 1977, becoming a fixture as a police cruiser of the era.

After a long pause the name was revived for 1990–1992 on a mid-size front-drive sedan (a rebadged Eagle Premier) before being retired again.
