History

The original Magnum (1978–1979) was a personal-luxury coupe on the last of the Chrysler B-body, introduced to supplement the Charger.

The name returned for 2005 on a rear-wheel-drive station wagon built on the LX platform, sharing its mechanicals with the Charger and Chrysler 300. The 425-hp 6.1 Hemi SRT8 made it a rare muscle wagon before it was dropped after 2008.
