History
The first Avenger (1995–2000) was a sport compact coupe built on a Mitsubishi platform, a stylish two-door slotting below the Stratus.
The name returned for 2008 on an unrelated mid-size, fastback-styled four-door sedan. It was discontinued after 2014 as Dodge's mid-size lineup was consolidated.
