History
The Terios succeeded the Feroza/Rocky as Daihatsu's compact SUV when it launched in April 1997, moving to a more road-biased unibody construction compared to its predecessor's ladder frame. It was offered in short and long-wheelbase forms and quickly became a significant export model — sold in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Since August 2016 sales have been concentrated in Indonesia, where the Terios is Daihatsu's most important product. Three generations have been produced; the second and third generations are also sold as the Toyota Rush in numerous markets, underlining the Toyota–Daihatsu shared-platform strategy.

First generation (J100) · J100/F500
The original Terios — short and long-wheelbase, rear-wheel drive standard, 4WD optional; also sold in Japan as the Toyota Cami.

Second generation (J200) · J200/F700
Longer, more refined Terios; sold as the Toyota Rush in key export markets.

Current long-wheelbase-only generation, primarily produced and sold in Indonesia.
