History

The current Rocky (A200) launched in Japan in 2019 as a compact unibody crossover sharing no structural DNA with the original ladder-frame Rocky/Feroza. It replaced the short-wheelbase Terios as Daihatsu's domestic entry-level SUV.

The A200 Rocky is offered with hybrid powertrains and is also sold as the Toyota Raize in Japan and as various rebadged variants in export markets, following Daihatsu's established model of sharing platforms upward to Toyota's retail network.
