Brilliance V7 History
History
The Brilliance V7 debuted at the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show as a seven-seat expansion of the existing V6 crossover platform, priced from CN¥108,700 to CN¥194,700. The mid-size crossover used a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Production model years ran from 2018 through 2020, making it one of the shortest-lived Zhonghua products; the parent company's November 2020 bankruptcy filing curtailed the model's commercial life before it could gain meaningful traction against established three-row rivals in the Chinese market.
