Brilliance H530 History
History
The Brilliance H530 debuted at the April 2011 Shanghai Auto Show as a concept and entered the Chinese market as a production model on 29 August 2011, priced between CN¥79,800 and CN¥125,800. It slotted above the H330 compact as the range-topping Zhonghua sedan.
A significant facelift debuted at the April 2014 Beijing Auto Show, bringing a new grille, revised headlights and bumpers, and a starting price reduced to CN¥65,000. The refreshed car's design was noted to echo BMW 3 Series cues — an unsurprising influence given Brilliance's long JV relationship with BMW. Production in Shenyang and at the Egyptian Bavarian Auto Group plant continued through 2020.
