Baojun KiWi EV History
History
In August 2021, the E300 — the third generation in Baojun's electric microcar lineage — was updated and relaunched as the KiWi EV, signaling Baojun's move toward more design-led electric products. Unlike its purely utilitarian predecessors, the KiWi EV featured more distinctive styling to differentiate it in China's rapidly growing small-EV segment.
The KiWi EV used a rear-motor, rear-wheel-drive layout, generating 40 kW (54 hp) with 150 Nm of torque and a top speed of 100 km/h. It supported DC fast charging. The KiWi EV was one of the few models carried into Baojun's 2023 EV-focused lineup before being phased out around 2025.
