History

The E100 was Baojun's first production electric vehicle, launched in 2017 as a two-seat city car just 2.49 metres long. Powered by a 29 kW (38 hp) electric motor with a top speed of 100 km/h, it offered an initial range of around 96 miles (155 km) that improved to approximately 124 miles (200 km) after a 2018 refresh.

Sold exclusively in China at an entry-level price, the E100 was aimed at urban commuters in cities where electric vehicles received favorable license-plate quotas. Production ran until 2021, when it was succeeded by more refined electric city cars.
