History

The Respect (locally branded as Respect Prime) is a rebadged variant of the Chery Arrizo 7 compact-to-mid-size sedan, assembled in Iran by Bahman Motor. Derived from the model Chery launched in China in 2021, it reached the Iranian market around 2022 as Bahman's primary passenger-car offering following the end of the Mazda-era product line.

A Respect Prime 2 variant with CVT automatic transmission followed, keeping the model competitive in a segment that had previously been served by the Mazda 3 / Bardo. The Respect nameplate continues in Bahman's current active lineup.
