History

Bahman Group announced its partnership with Great Wall Motor's Haval brand at the 2017 Tehran Auto Show and commenced local assembly of the Haval H2 compact SUV in April 2018. Priced at approximately 958.9 million rials, the H2 was positioned as an affordable crossover for Iranian buyers emerging from the Mazda-era product gap.

Initial 2018 sales reached 1,578 units, modest but establishing Haval as a recognisable nameplate in Iran. Assembly wound down as the H2 reached the end of its global life cycle (the model was discontinued worldwide in 2021; exact Iranian end date is not documented), and it was eventually superseded within Bahman's lineup by newer Chinese-brand SUVs including models from Jetour and Chery.
