History

Bahman Group began local production of the FAW Besturn B30 compact sedan in 2017, assembled in conjunction with Iran's Crouse Group. The B30 was positioned as a more accessible, entry-level option compared to the outgoing B50 and targeted the high-volume compact segment that the Mazda 323 and 3 had previously occupied.

Production ran until approximately 2021. Reports in later years indicated Bahman had the capacity to resume B30 production, reflecting the model's continuing market relevance even after its initial production run concluded.
