Alvis TC 21/100 'Grey Lady' History

The TC 21/100, popularly known as the 'Grey Lady', was a higher-performance development of the 3-litre Alvis saloon capable of 100 mph — the '100' in its name. It was distinguished by bonnet air scoops and wire wheels.

About 757 were built between 1953 and 1955. It marked the final flowering of the traditional, in-house-bodied Alvis saloon before the company turned to Swiss coachbuilder Graber for its later styling.
