Alvis TA 21 History

Announced in 1950, the TA 21 introduced a new chassis based on the TA 14 together with a six-cylinder 3-litre engine. That engine proved highly successful and, in developed form, powered every Alvis model right up to the end of car production in 1967.

The TA 21 was bodied by Mulliners (saloon) and Tickford (drophead), with about 1,316 built. A two-seat sports variant, the TB 21, was made in very small numbers.
