Alvis TA 14 History

When car production resumed after the Second World War, Alvis returned with the TA 14, a four-cylinder model derived from the pre-war 12/70. It used coachbuilt bodies, including Mulliners saloons and Tickford drophead coupés.

About 3,311 TA 14s were built between 1946 and 1950, making it one of the higher-volume Alvis cars and the bridge between the company's pre-war and post-war ranges. A short-run two-seat sports version, the TB 14, was also offered.
