The Eos (2007–2016) was Volkswagen's compact retractable-hardtop convertible on the Golf/Jetta platform, notable for a complex five-piece folding roof that uniquely incorporated a sliding glass sunroof.
It gave VW a four-season open-top car before the segment faded. Source note: Wikipedia "Volkswagen Eos" — US Eos MY2007–2016 (a final 2016 Komfort-only run closed it out).
