Launched as the 'Passat CC' (later just 'CC') for the 2009 model year, the CC was a swoopy, frameless-window four-door 'coupe' aimed at buyers wanting Passat practicality with more style.
It was sold through 2017 and effectively replaced by the Arteon. Source note: Wikipedia / autonews — US CC MY2009–2017.
