Togg T10X History
History
The T10X was the first of five electric vehicles Togg planned to release by 2030. The nameplate suffix 'X' denotes the SUV body style. Design was carried out by Murat Günak and Pininfarina, with Turkish cultural motifs including a tulip-shaped grille integrated into the exterior. Manufacturing at the Gemlik, Bursa plant began in October 2022, and customer deliveries commenced in April 2023.
Two lithium-ion battery packs are offered: a 52.4 kWh unit with a claimed WLTP range of 314 km (195 mi), and an 88.5 kWh long-range pack rated at 523 km (325 mi). Powertrain options span a 160 kW (215 hp) rear-wheel-drive single-motor version with a 0–100 km/h time of 7.4 seconds, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 320 kW (429 hp) that reaches 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The T10X earned a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating in 2025 testing. It quickly dominated the Turkish EV market: 19,583 units were sold in 2023, rising to 30,093 in 2024. Combined with the T10F, Togg held roughly a 25% share of Turkish EV sales in early 2026.
