History

Launched in 2005, the Actyon was a compact crossover SUV offered in both conventional SUV and pickup (Actyon Sports) forms, giving SsangYong a foothold in the growing compact-crossover segment.

A redesigned second generation arrived in 2011 with more conservative styling and updated engines before the model was discontinued in 2016 as the Tivoli took over the compact crossover role in SsangYong's range.
