History

The Fox arrived in 1982 as a small four-wheeled utility vehicle using the Kitten's mechanicals — the 848 cc Reliant engine and fibreglass body construction — configured as a basic pickup with various hardtop options.

Aimed at light commercial and leisure use rather than the Kitten's economy-car buyers, it found only modest sales and was phased out by around 1990.
