History
The Sunbird debuted for 1975 as a Pontiac version of GM's subcompact Monza-family H-body, a small, sporty companion to the larger Pontiacs.
After a pause, the nameplate returned on GM's front-drive J-body (1982 onward), where it offered turbocharged GT versions before being replaced by the Sunfire for 1995.
