History
Introduced for 1954, the Star Chief used a longer wheelbase to position it as Pontiac's premium full-size car of the mid-1950s.
It was a mainstay of Pontiac's range through the brand's styling-led, performance-minded transformation under Bunkie Knudsen, before being phased out after 1966.
