History

The G6 launched for 2005 (replacing the Grand Am) on GM's Epsilon platform, offered as a sedan, coupe, and a retractable-hardtop convertible, with a sporty GXP trim near the top.

It holds a poignant place in the brand's story: the final Pontiac ever assembled — a white G6 — rolled off the line on January 4, 2010, as GM wound the division down.
