History
The Sundance arrived for 1987 as Plymouth's compact on Chrysler's P-body, a twin of the Dodge Shadow, offered as a three- and five-door hatchback with the practicality of a hatch and the look of a sedan.
A peppy turbocharged version was available early on, and the budget 'America' trim undercut rivals on price. The Sundance ran through 1994, replaced by the Neon.
