History

The Breeze arrived for 1996 as Plymouth's entry in Chrysler's acclaimed cab-forward JA-platform — the value-priced sibling of the Chrysler Cirrus and Dodge Stratus, with a roomy interior thanks to the wheels-pushed-to-the-corners design.

Offered only as a four-door sedan and pitched on space and price, the Breeze was the Acclaim's replacement and ran through 2000 as Plymouth's lineup shrank ahead of the brand's end.
