Peugeot 5008 History
History
The Peugeot 5008 launched in 2009 as a large seven-seat MPV, sharing its platform with the first-generation 3008. When the second generation arrived in 2017, Peugeot repositioned it as a full SUV (rather than an MPV) with seven seats, competing directly against the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace.
A third generation on the STLA Medium platform was introduced alongside the new 3008 for 2024, continuing the seven-seat SUV format.
