History

Launched in September 2007, the Peugeot 308 replaced the 307 and grew into one of the brand's most decorated models — the second generation (T9, 2013–2021) won the European Car of the Year award for 2014, and the third generation received significant critical acclaim on launch for its distinctive interior design and hybrid powertrains.

A performance 308 GTi was offered across both the first and second generations. The first-gen GTi produced around 200 hp, while the second-gen 308 GTi offered 250 hp and 270 hp variants — the latter making it one of the fastest front-wheel-drive hatchbacks in its class.
