History

The Peugeot 307, launched in 2001, won the European Car of the Year award for 2002. It was notably larger than the 306 it replaced, prioritising interior space and practicality while retaining Peugeot's characteristic driving refinement.

A distinctive option on early models was a large panoramic glass roof that ran almost the full length of the cabin. The 307 CC (coupe cabriolet with retractable hardtop) and 307 SW estate added body-style breadth. It was replaced by the 308 for 2008.
